Pasuculu SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Suscal Remon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Venceslao Hernan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Cuero in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Ysidro Noya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venceslao Hernan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Videl Alguerdo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Venceslao Hernan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Videl Alguerdo in the 21st minute of play. Quinashincha FC's Venceslao Hernan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Videl Alguerdo in the 22nd minute of play. If Martinez Nuño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martinez Nuño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Zuñiga Villaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pasuculu SC's Zuñiga Villaño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Pasuculu SC from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Quinashincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Videl Alguerdo came free, but Venceslao Hernan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venceslao Hernan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Cuero, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Quinashincha FC's Martinez Nuño got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martinez Nuño to make the kick off. When Carlos Ural fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quinashincha FC's protests and gave Carlos Ural a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Ural kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Venceslao Hernan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ramírez Narez. Gonzalo Cuero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Quinashincha FC's Garcia Mescua got a free kick in the 60th minute. Venceslao Hernan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.
