After a defensive mix-up in UD Calichana's zone, Xove Cea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camacho Bailina came out of the goal and Xove Cea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Herodes SC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rixon Pujado hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Nicolás Brañas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xefe Omaña was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Xefe Omaña was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Nicolás Brañas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicolás Brañas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 16th minute, Unai Calero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nicolás Brañas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Herodes SC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Roldan Plata hit a great ball. UD Calichana's Unai Calero got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Unai Calero came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the UD Calichana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Unai Calero couldn't finish the play. Unai Calero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Unai Calero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Unai Calero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Xefe Omaña. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. A hard and well directed shot from Edmundo Montaño led 38 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Herodes SC's Xefe Omaña became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 3-0. Unai Calero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Xefe Omaña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Zayvion Quer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

If Nicolás Brañas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. UD Calichana walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
