Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Unax Gatell started the match with the kick off. Wilmer Chapado's late challenge caught a Shall SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilmer Chapado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maranon's Wilmer Chapado got a free kick in the 6th minute. Fernandez Olvera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Maranon's Chatruc Guardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Osuna in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Unax Gatell in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Peralves saved Shall SC from getting behind. In the 13th minute Victoriano Abello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chatruc Guardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Maranon booed when Shall SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Amezua didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Patricio Trasloseros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shall SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Trasloseros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. James Osuna scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chatruc Guardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shall SC's Pedro Sabino got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Maranon's zone, Victoriano Abello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chatruc Guardo came out of the goal and Victoriano Abello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shall SC's Pedro Sabino suffered a sore thigh after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Urdin Muxica charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urdin Muxica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Maranon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urdin Muxica to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maranon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Fernandez Olvera walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Chatruc Guardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Abello in the 44th minute of the match. Alexander Caller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Virgilio Peralves made a huge save. Victoriano Abello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Victoriano Abello made the kick off in the second half. Shall SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernandez Olvera in the 54th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Patricio Trasloseros heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Victoriano Abello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatruc Guardo having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Maranon's goalkeeper Chatruc Guardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Abello. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Unax Gatell put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Virgilio Peralves. After a rather tough play, Shall SC's Patricio Trasloseros got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Martin Morga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Peralves skillfully saved the ball. Victoriano Abello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Chatruc Guardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgilio Peralves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Caller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Shall SC's goal looked a bit too open when Unax Gatell came free, but Virgilio Peralves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unax Gatell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Peralves having to interfere.
