Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ubarna Bezares made the kick off which started today's match. Morán Aguiriano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Valcarce having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Ascencio Ligero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calpi FC's Samuel Bocos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for UD Yanayacu. After having played for 13 minutes, Elias Redeño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calpi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Redeño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zornin Alborja kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Pancho Tocornal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Lima showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elias Redeño might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Valcarce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Redeño ran back to his position shaking his head. Morán Aguiriano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rolando Valcarce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Calpi FC booed when UD Yanayacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ascencio Ligero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Bocos, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 35 played minutes Calpi FC got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Bultron. If Zuri Munis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, UD Yanayacu's Ascencio Ligero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 56thth minute of the game Morán Aguiriano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Yanayacu's Rolando Valcarce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the game, one of UD Yanayacu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Samuel Bocos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 65th minute, Elias Redeño made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Valcarce. UD Yanayacu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 67 played minutes UD Yanayacu got a freekick which was hit by Ascencio Ligero. Ascencio Ligero hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Elias Redeño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Valcarce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. UD Yanayacu's Zuri Munis got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ubarna Bezares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Lima having to interfere. Ubarna Bezares might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubarna Bezares ran back to his position shaking his head. Calpi FC's Jose Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Calpi FC from getting a goal against them. 87 minutes into the game, Ubarna Bezares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jose Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute, Ubarna Bezares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Calpi FC were the better team. Calpi FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
