Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Urrutia Linde took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klimowitz Armenta during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Klimowitz Armenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jose-Antonio Cuetos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urrutia Linde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CD Piman's Lorenzo Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save CD Piman from getting a goal against them. After 22 minutes, Ulises Hormaza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Piman and the Guambi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes CD Piman got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Hormaza. 28 minutes into the game, CD Piman's Jose-Antonio Cuetos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Zubicoeta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rolando Cariton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose-Antonio Cuetos to make the kick off. A collision led to CD Piman getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jeremias Peguero hit a great ball. In the 56thth minute of the game Urrutia Linde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Piman's Lorenzo Loureiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Rolando Cariton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose-Antonio Cuetos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Zubicoeta having to interfere. García Goicoechea hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Marco Murcia came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the CD Piman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Murcia couldn't finish the play. Marcos Zubicoeta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jose-Antonio Cuetos's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Marcos Zubicoeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose-Antonio Cuetos, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Ferrer Palou's late challenge caught a Guambi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferrer Palou helped the player get up and apologised. Ulises Hormaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Marcos Zubicoeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play CD Piman's Ulises Hormaza was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Guambi's Urrutia Linde got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Cariton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lorenzo Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CD Piman eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
