Vergaray Coya's late challenge caught a Puetata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vergaray Coya helped the player get up and apologised. 13 minutes into the game, one of Chilla FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Duarte Baracaldo, was totally fooled by Puetata's Gerardo Silvestre, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jaime Palomar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zuzen Pernia fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puetata's protests and gave Zuzen Pernia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Puetata getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Zuzen Pernia hit a great ball. Jaime Palomar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Duarte Baracaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Jaime Palomar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Duarte Baracaldo, 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Jaime Palomar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Luciano Santurde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zorion Irazu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Chilla FC's Zavior Pozos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jimmy Fuentetaja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jaime Palomar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Baracaldo having to interfere. Jaime Palomar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Luciano Santurde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Santurde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Fuentetaja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 minutes, Quintana Regil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puetata and the Chilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Puetata got a freekick which was hit by Quintana Regil. Humberto Gimenez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmy Fuentetaja read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Humberto Gimenez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Jimmy Fuentetaja when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
