Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rogelio Herrea took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rogelio Herrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Somoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. William Ruidio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Sauco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Herrea came free, but William Ruidio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leandro Arcaute hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Emilio Olazaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Herrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emilio Olazaran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barros Largacha having to interfere. Aires Ester's late challenge caught a Sauco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aires Ester helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Aires Ester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barros Largacha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Olazaran in the 25th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes, Tahuaico's Xinaro Beteta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Ruidio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tahuaico reached it. In the 36th minute, Uriel Cabrales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Rogelio Herrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tahuaico's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Herrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Ruidio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rogelio Herrea fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tahuaico's protests and gave Rogelio Herrea a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Tahuaico got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Herrea. The long shot by Antonio Brieba in the 40th minute really tested Barros Largacha's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Olazaran was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sauco FC's Eugenio Urtiaran got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Barros Largacha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zavior Aldazabal in the 56th minute of play. When Tahuaico's Rogelio Herrea in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sauco FC's goalie prevented a goal. Roman Somoano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Tahuaico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Zavior Aldazabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barros Largacha having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Roman Somoano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rogelio Herrea might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Ruidio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Herrea ran back to his position shaking his head. Barros Largacha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Olazaran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sauco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tahuaico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
