Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Oyuelos started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Rodrigo Oyuelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xavier Cienfuegos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitor Mallo having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Xavier Cienfuegos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitor Mallo. Cajas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavier Cienfuegos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Xavier Cienfuegos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitor Mallo having to interfere. Checa Devesa charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Checa Devesa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Cajas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Checa Devesa to maneuver through the defense. Vitor Mallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Cienfuegos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leonel Oyaga fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cajas's protests and gave Leonel Oyaga a yellow card for diving instead. Leonel Oyaga kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Osorio Rojica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Cajas got a freekick which was hit by Checa Devesa. After 39 played minutes, Mechita's Alberto Costas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vitor Mallo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mechita reached it. If Fabio Sigler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Mechita were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Xavier Cienfuegos made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Mechita's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Oyuelos came free, but Sanchez Armenta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo Oyuelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mechita's zone, Osorio Rojica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sanchez Armenta came out of the goal and Osorio Rojica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rodrigo Oyuelos came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Cajas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Oyuelos couldn't finish the play. Francisco Bon's late challenge caught a Mechita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Bon helped the player get up and apologised. Francisco Bon kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Mechita's Sanchez Armenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osorio Rojica in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mechita's Jaime Heces got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Xavier Cienfuegos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osorio Rojica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sanchez Armenta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
