Marcos Reganado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dani Vizcarra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Tinkimientza booed when Caliguina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximeno Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Pontones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christobal Morua in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quiñónez Cotera in the 46th minute of play forced Tinkimientza's goalkeeper Dani Vizcarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Sañudo made a kick off. Dani Vizcarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Sañudo in the 64th minute of the match. Tinkimientza's Dani Vizcarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Sañudo in the 66th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, one of Caliguina:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Javier Pontones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christobal Morua in the 77th minute of the match. In the 99th minute, Enrico Says got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Tinkimientza supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tinkimientza would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
