Castillo Ubago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Guale's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Sedano came free, but Augusto Castaño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramón Berrio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Guale's Urre Berenguer in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Imantag's goalie prevented a goal. After 16 played minutes Imantag got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Cubian. In the 19th match minute, Guale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Castillo Ubago to maneuver through the defense. When Fabio Sejomill fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guale's protests and gave Fabio Sejomill a yellow card for diving instead. 20 minutes into the game, one of Guale:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Augusto Castaño, was totally fooled by Imantag's Andres Abin, who 22 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dario Sedano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Imantag getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Andres Abin hit a great ball. Luciano Iranzo came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Augusto Castaño could save by the left post. 50 minutes into the game, Pedro Roberto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mendez Berges was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Sedano to make the kick off. Vergaray Laiseca hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Pedro Roberto kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Marcelino Cubian charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Cubian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mendez Berges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urre Berenguer in the 62nd minute of play. Pedro Roberto hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Sedano in the 69th minute of play forced Guale's goalkeeper Augusto Castaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Jacinto Pastor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Imantag the free kick. After a rather tough play, Guale's Jacinto Pastor got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Mendez Berges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Roberto in the 75th minute. Mendez Berges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urre Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Luciano Iranzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imantag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Iranzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dario Sedano came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Imantag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Sedano couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Imantag's goal looked a bit too open when Urre Berenguer came free, but Mendez Berges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Castillo Ubago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mendez Berges having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Urre Berenguer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Urre Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mendez Berges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Castillo Ubago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Mendez Berges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Imantag's Vergaray Laiseca got a free kick in the 100th minute.
