Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Orlando Aostri made the kick off which started today's match. 7 minutes into the match, UD Matajillo's goal looked a bit too open when Salomon Cazares came free, but Zorion Calviño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Orlando Aostri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zorion Calviño. UD Matajillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Aostri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Aostri in the 12th minute of play forced UD Matajillo's goalkeeper Zorion Calviño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorion Calviño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Aostri in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Orlando Aostri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zorion Calviño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Vijil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilson Valladares, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Sigchos FC's goalkeeper Diego Vijil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zernin Regalado. Lucas Clarabout's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Diego Vijil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. If Salomon Cazares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomon Cazares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corozo Solar kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilson Valladares in the 37th minute of play forced Sigchos FC's goalkeeper Diego Vijil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zernin Regalado struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Diego Vijil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Matajillo. 44 minutes into the match, Sigchos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vilson Valladares came free, but Diego Vijil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Vijil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilson Valladares in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Salomon Cazares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Vilson Valladares made the kick off in the second half. UD Matajillo's Zernin Regalado got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xuoco Herrea charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xuoco Herrea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xuoco Herrea kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Julio Cañeda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of UD Matajillo booed when Sigchos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Udalaitz Zubillaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 58 minutes on the clock, Torres Santoyo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 62 minutes into the match, Sigchos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vilson Valladares came free, but Diego Vijil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vilson Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Zernin Regalado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Vijil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilson Valladares in the 68th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Zernin Regalado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Matajillo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sigchos FC's Diego Vijil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilson Valladares in the 87th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
