CD Recreo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Matajillo the free kick. Xzaiver Volante charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xzaiver Volante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paolo Idalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilson Valladares in the 31st minute of the match. Paolo Idalgo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Zernin Regalado sent off a good shot on target. If Pedro Sarabia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xzaiver Volante succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vilson Valladares made a kick off. Pedro Sarabia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Sarabia helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes CD Recreo got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Sarabia. After a defensive mix-up in CD Recreo's zone, Zernin Regalado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Idalgo came out of the goal and Zernin Regalado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Xzaiver Volante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, CD Recreo's goal looked a bit too open when Zernin Regalado came free, but Paolo Idalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Zernin Regalado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Idalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CD Recreo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Xzaiver Volante hit a great ball. Zernin Regalado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The CD Recreo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CD Recreo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
