The tension between the Briceno SC and the Irolonguito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Pedro Troncoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Nestor Artacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Barcelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Roberto Armijo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zambrano Buergo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Briceno SC's goalkeeper Zambrano Buergo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xove Cardon. Roberto Armijo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Zambrano Buergo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Roberto Armijo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zambrano Buergo. The goal made the score 1-0. Irolonguito's Uriel Barcelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Troncoso in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Irolonguito getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Oswaldo Ascarretazabal hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xove Cardon got free with Zambrano Buergo in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xove Cardon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Zambrano Buergo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute of the match Irolonguito got a corner. Briceno SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valerio Melgarejo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zeruko Rosa thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Zambrano Buergo, a very annoying self made goal in the 48th minute which led to 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Pedro Troncoso made the kick off in the second half. Irolonguito were furious when Camacho Atauri was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Irolonguito fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Xove Cardon in the 63rd minute of play forced Briceno SC's goalkeeper Zambrano Buergo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Xove Cardon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irolonguito's supporters rose to their feet, but Xove Cardon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zambrano Buergo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Angulo Alaejos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Irolonguito's Xove Cardon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zambrano Buergo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Valiente Bodes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zambrano Buergo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xove Cardon in the 76th minute of the match. Briceno SC's Zambrano Buergo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xove Cardon in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Pedro Troncoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Briceno SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Troncoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domingo Albuerne got free with Uriel Barcelo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Domingo Albuerne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Barcelo having to interfere. Irolonguito's Uriel Barcelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Troncoso in the 99th minute of play. In the 101st minute, Irolonguito's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Domingo Albuerne fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Irolonguito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
