Nestor Artacho struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Yaniusky Busvidad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Briceno SC. Briceno SC's Zambrano Buergo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Lassa in the 6th minute of play. If Pedro Troncoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zambrano Buergo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Lassa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yaniusky Busvidad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Albuerne in the 18th minute of the match. When Vito Barriola fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cascarilla SC's protests and gave Vito Barriola a yellow card for diving instead. After 26 played minutes Cascarilla SC got a freekick which was hit by Vito Barriola. In the 27th minute, Domingo Albuerne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yaniusky Llamosas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Eduardo Lassa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zambrano Buergo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Briceno SC's goalkeeper Zambrano Buergo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yaniusky Llamosas. Yaniusky Llamosas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zambrano Buergo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valiente Bodes during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yaniusky Llamosas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Troncoso made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Danilo Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Briceno SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cascarilla SC:s goal. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Cascarilla SC. Humberto Amondo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zambrano Buergo. 2-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cascarilla SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Briceno SC's zone, Yaniusky Llamosas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zambrano Buergo came out of the goal and Yaniusky Llamosas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 71st minute of the match Valiente Bodes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valiente Bodes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Valiente Bodes kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After 75 played minutes Briceno SC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Troncoso. In the 76th minute, Eduardo Lassa made a precise shot to the right of Zambrano Buergo. Briceno SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 86th match minute, Cascarilla SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Escobar Ruberte to maneuver through the defense. When Domingo Albuerne came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Briceno SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Albuerne couldn't finish the play. Lisandro Boiso kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yaniusky Llamosas during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cascarilla SC's Yaniusky Llamosas got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Nestor Artacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ursino Zugasti's late challenge caught a Briceno SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ursino Zugasti helped the player get up and apologised. Yaniusky Busvidad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Albuerne in the 98th minute. Domingo Albuerne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
