Vergaray Ricoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vergaray Ricoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arlín Vellana went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 20th minute Arlín Vellana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vergaray Ricoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Arlín Vellana managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Vasquez's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlín Vellana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vergaray Ricoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Pardo fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Pardo's Ortiz Ontaneda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vito Jaurigui might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vergaray Ricoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vito Jaurigui ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arlín Vellana was the one to do the kick off. Arlín Vellana succeeded in the game's 51st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Desiderio Palomares hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Zeru Robredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandez Talavera went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. CD Vasquez had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
