Hernando Aranguiz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Hernández Arada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurxo Merodo in the 19th minute of play. Checa Fonte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Perdices in the 29th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Federico Ontova hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 minutes, Fidel Baezabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Anguasha and the UD Huambi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Xurxo Merodo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernández Arada was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Checa Fonte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joffre Legazpi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hernández Arada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. UD Huambi's Hernández Arada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save UD Huambi from getting a goal against them. Checa Fonte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Perdices in the 63rd minute of the match. Fidel Baezabal kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Raul Zarzuelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Checa Fonte having to make a save. Raul Zarzuelo's late challenge caught a UD Anguasha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Zarzuelo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, UD Huambi's Leonel Perdices got a free kick in the 74th minute. Hernández Arada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joffre Legazpi in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Zambrano Rego managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Videl Bustillo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Sergio Sarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Checa Fonte having to interfere. The supporters of UD Huambi booed when UD Anguasha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Baezabal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
