With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Valgoma in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lopez Vidania saved CD Sevilla from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Unai Pardemanos made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Xiao Torrecillas managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Sevilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Xiao Torrecillas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Zuriarrain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Unai Pardemanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, CD Canar's Sotomayor Vigil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lopez Vidania narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee showed Leo Ursueguia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CD Canar getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Leo Ursueguia hit a great ball. When Unai Pardemanos came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the CD Sevilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Unai Pardemanos couldn't finish the play. Sotomayor Vigil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the CD Sevilla defense, Leon Valgoma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lopez Vidania. The CD Sevilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lopez Vidania should have stopped the shot. CD Sevilla's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
