Vicente Zuriarrain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uzuri Cadrecha, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Uzuri Cadrecha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Zuriarrain having to interfere. Leon Valgoma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Alcolea having to interfere. Vicente Zuriarrain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uzuri Cadrecha in the 37th minute of play. Dennis Gargollo might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Zuriarrain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Gargollo ran back to his position shaking his head. When CD Canar's Leon Valgoma in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Pallalanga's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of CD Pallalanga booed when CD Canar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Ursueguia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th match minute, CD Canar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotomayor Vigil to maneuver through the defense.
