The supporters of Sayarin FC booed when Ila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xayvion Egaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ila's Xayvion Egaña got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 36th minute, Raul Albizua sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ila's Castillo Valdero didn't even have to move. In the 38th match minute, Ila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xayvion Egaña to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Ramiro Garival shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Castillo Valdero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Uncal in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elkin Caraduje saved Sayarin FC from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Garival stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dani Oteo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Castillo Valdero saved Ila from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Castillo Valdero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Xerardo Soriano fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ila's protests and gave Xerardo Soriano a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Ila:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sayarin FC:s goal. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Sayarin FC. Raul Albizua stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Castillo Valdero. 0-1. Dani Oteo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Castillo Valdero made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Uncal in the 73rd minute of play forced Sayarin FC's goalkeeper Elkin Caraduje to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pinto Baizan struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Elkin Caraduje didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ila.
