Maximo Picardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 10 minutes, Xzaver Herencia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clemencia SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xzaver Herencia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 played minutes CD Chiguasa got a freekick which was hit by Zayveon Lluberas. A collision led to Clemencia SC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Xanti Muriedas hit a great ball. If Edgar Tul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Uzuri Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Xanti Muriedas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemencia SC's Armando Astete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Tul in the 41st minute of play. Uzuri Osorio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uzuri Osorio was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Xzaver Herencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Picardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Astete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uzuri Osorio in the 59th minute of play. Edgar Tul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rdth minute of the game Uzuri Osorio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clemencia SC's Armando Astete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute Edson Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Picardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Victoro Alcubierre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clemencia SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Chiguasa the free kick. Victoro Alcubierre kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes in the game, Uzuri Osorio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Clemencia SC's goalkeeper Armando Astete had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Tul. Clemencia SC's Armando Astete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Clemencia SC from getting a goal against them. Clemencia SC's Armando Astete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uzuri Osorio in the 81st minute of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Uzuri Osorio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Armando Astete saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edgar Tul who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Armando Astete when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 93 minutes of play, Clemencia SC's Xzaver Herencia made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Picardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xzaver Herencia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Picardo having to interfere. CD Chiguasa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
