The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gomez Heyros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from España Zaldain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gomez Heyros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stacio Insausti in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th match minute, Pintac FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xacintu Rancaño to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cántaro Muniz got free with Corozo Colina in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 15 played minutes Frescoguayco FC got a freekick which was hit by José Monroy. 22 minutes into the match, Pintac FC's goalkeeper Corozo Colina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Santa. Corozo Colina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Santa in the 29th minute. España Zaldain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gomez Heyros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stacio Insausti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corozo Colina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Santa in the 40th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stacio Insausti to make the kick off. When Xavion Arraña came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Frescoguayco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavion Arraña couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stacio Insausti in the 59th minute of play forced Frescoguayco FC's goalkeeper Gomez Heyros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes, Xavion Arraña made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pintac FC's Corozo Colina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Teo Egas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gomez Heyros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stacio Insausti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gomez Heyros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from España Zaldain in the 68th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Pintac FC's corner Vinicio Socobio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gomez Heyros quite easily take care of the ball. When Pintac FC's Stacio Insausti in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gomez Heyros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Corozo Colina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavion Arraña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. España Zaldains short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Gomez Heyros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Frescoguayco FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pintac FC for a fine match.
