Rodriguez Berganza was slow to take the kick. During this time Barbascal SC's players had a chance to rest. Xavies Herdozain was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, Pintac FC's Cristian Biñuela got a free kick in the 9th minute. Valerio Moranto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corozo Colina having to interfere. Escobar Vidrio came out of the goal and Stacio Insausti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, one of Barbascal SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Barbascal SC. Corozo Colina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valerio Moranto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. España Zaldain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Escobar Vidrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Stacio Insausti made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, España Zaldain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pintac FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but España Zaldain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stacio Insausti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stacio Insausti hit a great ball. Pintac FC's Corozo Colina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Pintac FC from getting a goal against them. After 76 played minutes Barbascal SC got a freekick which was hit by Valerio Moranto. Barbascal SC's Rubio Cumbres got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Escobar Vidrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stacio Insausti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barbascal SC! In the 85th minute there was a penalty for Pintac FC. Vinicio Socobio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Escobar Vidrio. 2-1. With a little luck, Pintac FC's Corozo Colina got control of the ball when Valerio Moranto tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Vinicio Socobio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pintac FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barbascal SC the free kick. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pintac FC! When Pintac FC's Stacio Insausti in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barbascal SC's goalie prevented a goal. Barbascal SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
