Ramos Viramontez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Ojea having to interfere. UD Joyacshi's Robin Cecilia got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darío Chapa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Ojea having to interfere. In the 25th minute Darío Chapa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Ojea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Lana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Robin Cecilia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Cristian Lana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Arévalo Ayuso in the 71st minute of play forced Agustin FC's goalkeeper Cristian Lana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Ramos Viramontez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leo Ojea. The goal made the score 2-1. If Darío Chapa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leo Ojea didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. In the 89th minute, Robin Cecilia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Joyacshi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Robin Cecilia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Arévalo Ayuso made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Lana. Agustin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The UD Joyacshi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Agustin FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
