Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) UD Semir's Rodríguez Cao started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Moreta Urigarri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xefe Tuñon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Venceslao Arnaiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruben Velicia's late challenge caught a Esperanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Velicia helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes UD Semir got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Velicia. Jorge Mallavia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from René Obispo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodríguez Cao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Venceslao Arnaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. René Obispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Mallavia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by René Obispo in the 30th minute of play forced Esperanza's goalkeeper Jorge Mallavia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UD Semir's zone, Venceslao Arnaiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xefe Tuñon came out of the goal and Venceslao Arnaiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Mallavia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodríguez Cao in the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Rodríguez Cao notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Esperanza's Jorge Mallavia. Jorge Mallavia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jorge Mallavia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodríguez Cao, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moreta Urigarri to make the kick off. Jorge Mallavia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodríguez Cao in the 59th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, UD Semir's goal looked a bit too open when Moreta Urigarri came free, but Xefe Tuñon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. René Obispo's late challenge caught a Esperanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. René Obispo helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes UD Semir got a freekick which was hit by René Obispo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venceslao Arnaiz in the 87th minute of play forced UD Semir's goalkeeper Xefe Tuñon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xefe Tuñon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moreta Urigarri, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Esperanza's goal looked a bit too open when Rodríguez Cao came free, but Jorge Mallavia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes, Esperanza's Aguirre Tristan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xefe Tuñon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esperanza reached it. The UD Semir players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Esperanza from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
