Ambrossi Cotilla charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrossi Cotilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of UD Capizunga booed when Chisinche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrossi Cotilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corozo Giribet in the 11th minute of the match. After 15 minutes of play, Chisinche's Rafael Villaverde made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Bausa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, UD Capizunga's Corozo Giribet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Manzanares. Jorge Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Tyrone Lisundia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jorge Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Villaverde in the 26th minute of play forced UD Capizunga's goalkeeper Julio Bausa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Rafael Villaverde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Julio Bausa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Chisinche booed when UD Capizunga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Artadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Francisco Rojo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Capizunga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chisinche the free kick. Francisco Rojo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in UD Capizunga's zone, Felipe Perramon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Bausa came out of the goal and Felipe Perramon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corozo Giribet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Corozo Giribet made a kick off. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chisinche's goalkeeper Jorge Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. UD Capizunga's Corozo Giribet got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Julio Bausa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcelo Guerra hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, UD Capizunga's goalkeeper Julio Bausa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Perramon. Felipe Perramon struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Julio Bausa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chisinche. Jorge Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Rojo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 91 played minutes Chisinche got a freekick which was hit by Walme Ugia. Corozo Giribet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chisinche walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
