Camilo Tio helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Villarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, UD Shogra's goal looked a bit too open when Chatruc Barea came free, but Ledesma Norato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zayvion Pons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ledesma Norato having to interfere. In the 46th minute of the match Armando Trifol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ledesma Norato skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chatruc Barea was the one to do the kick off. In the 67th match minute, Vasquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Amilburu to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Vasquez's goalkeeper Patricio Muñiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hurtado Bernalda. In the 75th minute, Hugo Villarin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Patricio Muñiz, passed just outside the right post. Camilo Tio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Vasquez's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Villarin came free, but Patricio Muñiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when UD Shogra's Hugo Villarin in the 87th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Patricio Muñiz was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vasquez through an amazing save. Vasquez's Patricio Muñiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Villarin in the 91st minute of play. If Chatruc Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vasquez players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
