Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Xencio Herias started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute of the match, Xencio Herias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pavel Villamediana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 6 minutes into the match, Monterrey FC's Xencio Herias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Villamediana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, Monterrey FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Lobera to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perez Vidrio in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Saez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xencio Herias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 19 played minutes Xencio Herias rounded CD Lechuga's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Frutos Basabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Vladimiro Huelga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Saez came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by CD Lechuga's Moreno Nava. But to his dismay, Moreno Nava quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Marcelo Saez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perez Vidrio in the 36th minute of play. If Moreno Nava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monterrey FC's Marcelo Saez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weather Pedulles in the 43rd minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moreno Nava to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Monterrey FC defense, Perez Vidrio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Saez. The Monterrey FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Saez should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monterrey FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Saez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Monterrey FC's Rixon Paderniga got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 79th minute Xencio Herias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Villamediana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Perez Vidrio came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the CD Lechuga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Perez Vidrio couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Saez made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Perez Vidrio sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Monterrey FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moreno Nava came free, but Marcelo Saez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perez Vidrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Saez having to interfere.
