Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Chacras SC's Loco Adriano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Oquerruri in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, CD Palobamba's goal looked a bit too open when Vennancio Toresano came free, but Paulo Prus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match Chacras SC got a corner. CD Palobamba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan-Carlos Calenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Juan-Carlos Calenga made a great header on Chacras SC's corner, it was just that CD Palobamba's Paulo Prus managed to reach the ball for a save. Vennancio Toresano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Paulo Prus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Nunez Cugurulls hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chacras SC's Vennancio Toresano got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xabier Carrasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Paulo Prus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xabier Carrasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Prus having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Chacras SC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Oquerruri came free, but Loco Adriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vennancio Toresano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Paulo Prus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xabier Carrasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Edgardo Martua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Vennancio Toresano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Prus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Prus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xabier Carrasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Vennancio Toresano came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Chacras SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vennancio Toresano couldn't finish the play. In the 49thth minute of the game Xabier Carrasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Palobamba's Paulo Prus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xabier Carrasco was the one to do the kick off. If Vennancio Toresano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Chacras SC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Oquerruri came free, but Loco Adriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Chacras SC's Xabier Carrasco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Prus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Loco Adriano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mora Cevallos in the 68th minute of the match. Mora Cevallos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Chacras SC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Celso Rufrancos hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Xabier Carrasco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulo Prus, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Oquerruri in the 78th minute of play forced Chacras SC's goalkeeper Loco Adriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vennancio Toresano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Prus having to interfere. In the 98th minute, one of CD Palobamba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Palobamba. Paulo Prus had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Juan-Carlos Calenga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The CD Palobamba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chacras SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Chacras SC.
