Villarreal Juarbe hit a great ball. Lavalle Albarellos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Calisto Caldero. Cotera Ariza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dannes Sanabria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmundo Muro struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Lavalle Albarellos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quimi FC. After 20 played minutes Tembleque got a freekick which was hit by Libertad Rovires. Genaro Fleytas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Genaro Fleytas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Lavalle Albarellos made a huge save. If Genaro Fleytas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Quimi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xuaco Silvestre came free, but Dannes Sanabria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Xuaco Silvestre made a precise shot to the right of Dannes Sanabria. Quimi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Xuaco Silvestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dannes Sanabria having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Muro to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cotera Ariza in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dannes Sanabria saved Quimi FC from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Jairón Algorta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Tembleque's Cotera Ariza got a free kick in the 74th minute. Lavalle Albarellos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Muro went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Dannes Sanabria was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cotera Ariza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 80 minute of play. After recieving a nice pass, Quimi FC's Calisto Caldero tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 89 minutes, Urbes Pantojas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tembleque and the Quimi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Quimi FC's Calisto Caldero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tembleque. Edmundo Muro took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lavalle Albarellos. Lavalle Albarellos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
