Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ramirez Izmendi got the match started through his kick off. Viteri Castañondo took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ursino Regueiro. Ursino Regueiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Geras in the 16th minute of play forced Tunaspamba's goalkeeper Geovanni Sevilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Malinda FC booed when Tunaspamba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramirez Izmendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ursino Regueiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramirez Izmendi's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Malinda FC's zone, Ramirez Izmendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ursino Regueiro came out of the goal and Ramirez Izmendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th match minute, Tunaspamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Cuerva to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Tunaspamba booed when Malinda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Zamorano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Geras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Sevilla having to interfere.

Jacinto Geras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Geovanni Sevilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Malinda FC got a freekick which was hit by Vito Alire. When Jacinto Geras came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Malinda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Geras couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Malinda FC's Ursino Regueiro got control of the ball when Viteri Castañondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viteri Castañondo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Ursino Regueiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Xzaver Zartucha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Geovanni Sevilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Jacinto Geras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Sevilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Urdaspal Zuazna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 80 played minutes, Malinda FC's Urtsua Gondian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geovanni Sevilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malinda FC reached it. Xzaver Zartucha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Sevilla having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Malinda FC's goalkeeper Ursino Regueiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viteri Castañondo. Ursino Regueiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramirez Izmendi in the 93rd minute of play. When Wilfredo Peñarroja came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Malinda FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Peñarroja couldn't finish the play. If Xzaver Zartucha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tunaspamba players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Malinda FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
