Leonides Araico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Escobar Luan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zelipe Bribiesca in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Ajilanga SC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Miguel Araico was the one to do the kick off. Perlaza Brañas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Araico in the 60th minute of play. In the 66th minute Leonides Araico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perlaza Brañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Zelipe Bribiesca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Escobar Luan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Araico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Escobar Luan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Zelipe Bribiesca could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Escobar Luan however easily saved by the left post. Perlaza Brañas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Cumbres, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Ramiro Cumbres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perlaza Brañas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Araico in the 80th minute of play. Ramiro Cumbres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Araico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perlaza Brañas having to interfere. Perlaza Brañas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Cumbres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zelipe Bribiesca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Escobar Luan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Cebollero kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pajisa's zone, Zelipe Bribiesca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Escobar Luan came out of the goal and Zelipe Bribiesca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pedro Cariton fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pajisa's protests and gave Pedro Cariton a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Pajisa got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Cariton. With a little luck, Pajisa's Escobar Luan got control of the ball when Xavier Beguellina tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Ajilanga SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ajilanga SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
