Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ambrossi Balderrama made the kick off and thus started the match. 10 minutes into the match, Higuerones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Muñoz came free, but Garcia Astete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Muñoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the game, Juan Muñoz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Garcia Astete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ambrossi Balderrama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Faustino Tamez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Muñoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. With a little luck, CD Fortuna's Faustino Tamez got control of the ball when Lisandro Zorrilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Muñoz in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garcia Astete prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rosero Usel kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Tomas Salazano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Garcia Astete was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Lisandro Zorrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrossi Balderrama received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faustino Tamez came out and tried to block the shot, but Ambrossi Balderrama slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 40th minute. After 42 played minutes Higuerones FC got a freekick which was hit by Rosero Usel. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Muñoz was the one to do the kick off. When Higuerones FC's Lisandro Zorrilla in 52 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Faustino Tamez guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Faustino Tamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Zorrilla in the 53rd minute of play. Tomas Salazano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Higuerones FC's Lisandro Zorrilla in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Fortuna's goalie prevented a goal. When Tomas Salazano came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the CD Fortuna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Salazano couldn't finish the play. Tomas Salazano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lisandro Zorrilla kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. If Lisandro Zorrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Tomas Salazano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Muñoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xaime Madinabeitia during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Zorrilla in the 90th minute of play forced CD Fortuna's goalkeeper Faustino Tamez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Marcelino Yurrita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Fortuna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higuerones FC the free kick. A collision led to CD Fortuna getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marcelino Yurrita hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Lisandro Zorrilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Higuerones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. CD Fortuna were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
