The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zavier Martioda hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Curiloma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramírez Tazon to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th match minute, Curiloma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubén Fariñas to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Sisquella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xesus Pumarejo having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Corozo Unceta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curiloma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corozo Unceta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Sisquella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Batista Egea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Uimbi's goalkeeper Zenon Anda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zenon Anda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batista Egea, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. When Yambay Confercin fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curiloma FC's protests and gave Yambay Confercin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Curiloma FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Yambay Confercin hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Sisquella got free with Xesus Pumarejo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eduardo Perlines was the one to do the kick off. Yambay Confercin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Anda having to interfere. Curiloma FC's Xesus Pumarejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Perlines in the 58th minute of play. Zenon Anda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yambay Confercin in the 62nd minute of play. Batista Egea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Sisquella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Xesus Pumarejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zenon Anda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corozo Unceta, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Yambay Confercin might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zenon Anda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yambay Confercin ran back to his position shaking his head. If Batista Egea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, Eduardo Perlines notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Curiloma FC's Xesus Pumarejo. Xesus Pumarejo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batista Egea got free with Zenon Anda in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eduardo Perlines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Batista Egea fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Xesus Pumarejo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Sisquella in the 94th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play, UD Uimbi's Gustavo Sisquella made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xesus Pumarejo was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Curiloma FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for UD Uimbi.
