If Xaver Malta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Enterria having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Chical FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachitama SC the free kick. Richard Chavarri kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Roberto Enterria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xaver Malta, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If James Rello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xaver Malta struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Roberto Enterria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachitama SC. Roberto Enterria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Acosta went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Roberto Enterria stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Acosta's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chical FC's zone, Xaver Malta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Enterria came out of the goal and Xaver Malta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Angelo Acosta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachitama SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Acosta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Enterria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xaver Malta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Enterria having to interfere. When Angelo Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Cachitama SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Acosta couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the match, Chical FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Acosta came free, but Roberto Enterria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Cachitama SC were the better team. Cachitama SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
