He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cachitama SC reached it. Angelo Acosta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xuan Costilla having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Xaver Malta made a precise shot to the right of Xuan Costilla. Tena's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 18th match minute, Tena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Semprun to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Xaver Malta could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Xuan Costilla however easily saved by the left post. Angelo Acosta got in the 24th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Xuan Costilla handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Tena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachitama SC the free kick. After having played for 40 minutes, Angelo Acosta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachitama SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Acosta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Cesar Hernan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachitama SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tena the free kick. The supporters of Tena booed when Cachitama SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Hernan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes, Patricio Pañalosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachitama SC and the Tena players grew even worse after the yellow card. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Acosta to make the kick off. Angelo Acosta struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Xaver Malta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Anangonó Bratuti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xuan Costilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xaver Malta in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tena's Anangonó Bratuti got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tena's zone, Xaver Malta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xuan Costilla came out of the goal and Xaver Malta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xuan Costilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Acosta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xuan Costilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaver Malta in the 64th minute of the match. Tomas Finez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorio Cuellar having to make a save. Xuan Costilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Acosta went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Angelo Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Xuan Costilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xaver Malta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xuan Costilla having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, Cachitama SC's Angelo Acosta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xuan Costilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Acosta in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xuan Costilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
