Cruz Porcayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumino. Rodney Campderros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Rugama charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Rugama the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute Edgar Albasolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Barredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Barredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Albasolo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Luis Barredo made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Rodney Campderros sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xian Gobeo in the 28th minute of play forced CD Anchamasa's goalkeeper Cruz Porcayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Vilson Cañal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Anchamasa's Cruz Porcayo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Vilson Cañal put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cruz Porcayo. 38 minutes into the game, Camilo Ardines was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sumino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Anchamasa the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sumino's Camilo Ardines got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Rodney Campderros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Luis Barredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sumino's Luis Barredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Albasolo in the 44th minute of play. When Ledesma Arbizu fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CD Anchamasa's protests and gave Ledesma Arbizu a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes CD Anchamasa got a freekick which was hit by Ledesma Arbizu. Cruz Porcayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilson Cañal in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Albasolo to make the kick off. Xian Gobeo in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cruz Porcayo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Vilson Cañal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, CD Anchamasa's Cruz Porcayo got control of the ball when Xian Gobeo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Xian Gobeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xian Gobeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Cruz Porcayo made a huge save. If Xian Gobeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sumino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilson Cañal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CD Anchamasa's Rodney Campderros got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgar Albasolo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Barredo having to interfere. Sumino's Luis Barredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Albasolo in the 79th minute of play. Xian Gobeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Vilson Cañal lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Cruz Porcayo. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sumino had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
