Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when José Mauricio made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Jacinto Herezuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cuero Zumalburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute Casado Uranga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cuero Zumalburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blandón Barajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cuero Zumalburu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rubio Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Mauricio in the 14th minute of play. Cuero Zumalburu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blandón Barajas in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Casado Uranga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cuero Zumalburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guabillo SC's Cuero Zumalburu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casado Uranga in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Guabillo SC's Dennis Sibila got a free kick in the 21st minute. Casado Uranga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cuero Zumalburu having to interfere. Cuero Zumalburu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blandón Barajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. José Mauricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blandón Barajas struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Cuero Zumalburu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pillig SC. 38 minutes into the match, José Mauricio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rubio Lima, 1-0. After 41 played minutes Guabillo SC got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Sibila. Cuero Zumalburu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casado Uranga in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blandón Barajas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. John Verdes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Rubio Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guabillo SC's José Mauricio got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Blandón Barajas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cuero Zumalburu. The goal made the score 1-1. Vellito Asturiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guabillo SC's Cortez Zumaya got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guabillo SC! The goalkeeper, Cuero Zumalburu, was totally fooled by Pillig SC's Guagua Oropesa, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. José Mauricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes, Dennis Sibila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guabillo SC and the Pillig SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dennis Sibila kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. José Mauricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubio Lima having to interfere. In the 86th minute Ismael Oquendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubio Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Guabillo SC's zone, Casado Uranga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cuero Zumalburu came out of the goal and Casado Uranga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cuero Zumalburu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blandón Barajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Cortez Zumaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubio Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Mauricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pillig SC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
