In the 17th minute Lopez Larrategui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xaven Merodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Destino FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Xabat Bustio hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Destino FC's Dominguez Llera ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Flor Oliba. Flor Oliba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominguez Llera made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Destino FC got a freekick which was hit by Ximun Mazariegos. Destino FC's Ximun Mazariegos got his second yellow card of the match in the 57th minute. The referee ordered Ximun Mazariegos off the ground. After a rather tough play, Destino FC's Ximun Mazariegos got a free kick in the 57th minute. Xaven Merodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Albino, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Xaven Merodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Albino in the 65th minute of play. If Daniel Albino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. After 70 played minutes Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Albino. 71 minutes into the match, Union FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Vazquez came free, but Flor Oliba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Destino FC's Mario Vazquez got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Union FC's goalkeeper Flor Oliba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Mario Vazquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flor Oliba was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. The supporters of Destino FC booed when Union FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Palmero didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Destino FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Xabat Bustio hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Mario Vazquez notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Union FC's Flor Oliba. Flor Oliba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Union FC's zone, Mario Vazquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flor Oliba came out of the goal and Mario Vazquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes in the game, Daniel Albino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Xaven Merodio having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Destino FC! When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Union FC's Calderón Cagide got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Xaven Merodio. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Destino FC had won after a very even match.
