Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gregorio Pabon in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cevallos Acereda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramón Barreras in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Casanoves saved CD Valdes from getting behind. From a short distance, CD Valdes's Gregorio Pabon, in the 17th minute, tried to place the ball behind Cevallos Acereda, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paredes Colsa during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was beautiful to see CD Valdes's Xabat Samamies in action when he in the 30th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 34th minute, Xavierlada Gregorio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CD Valdes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Same's Cevallos Acereda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Same from getting a goal against them. Xesus Rionda tried in the game's 52nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Joaquin Casanoves. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. If Aires Moscoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos-Alberto Echaez hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Aires Moscoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Joaquin Casanoves made a huge save. Xavierlada Gregorio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cevallos Acereda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After 81 minutes, Gregorio Pabon made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Same's Cevallos Acereda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Aires Moscoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cevallos Acereda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Pabon in the 90th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Same's Coyette Claudio got a free kick in the 91st minute. Gregorio Pabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cevallos Acereda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavierlada Gregorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CD Valdes had won after a very even match.
