An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Agües in the 4th minute of play forced Barcelona S.C.'s goalkeeper Eugenio Luengo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Iachetti Lemos made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Luengo. Barcelona S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 18 played minutes Barcelona S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Erazo. With an all-out effort, CD Sertag's Eugenio Luengo threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Asencio Secanell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Barcelona S.C.'s Narciso Balines in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Narciso Balines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mina Zaton having to interfere. Mina Zaton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Balines, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Balines to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored CD Sertag's protests and gave Antonio Buison a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, one of CD Sertag:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Sertag. Barcelona S.C.'s Narciso Balines got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Barcelona S.C.'s Narciso Balines quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonio Buison, made in the 76th minute of the game. Narciso Balines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, CD Sertag's Mina Zaton got control of the ball when Narciso Balines tried to sneak it across the goal line.
