Suscal Betancia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Robin Largacha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 16th minute Anangonó Taranco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Largacha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Anangonó Taranco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suscal Betancia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin Largacha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anangonó Taranco in the 34th minute of play. Robin Largacha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anangonó Taranco in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Hiroshima 1945's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Dalmases came free, but Leo Vendrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hiroshima 1945 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! Alonzo Perera placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Chavezpamba's Enrique Arrojo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Suscal Betancia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Largacha having to interfere. Villegas Trullols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Vendrell having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hiroshima 1945 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chavezpamba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
