Dannes Fortes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Sorriba hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Wichimi's Blandón Muxi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chatruc Valles. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Xaver Armona got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ayoví Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match German Toyos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valencia Payno skillfully saved the ball. The Wichimi fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Wichimi's Blandón Muxi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Paredes Mariny's late challenge caught a Wichimi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paredes Mariny helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to UD Sanambay getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Paredes Mariny hit a great ball. Wichimi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Rocafort in the 38th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernando Dimas was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Wichimi's Valencia Payno got control of the ball when Dannes Fortes tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Xaver Armona came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Wichimi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xaver Armona couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Blandón Muxi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blandón Muxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Chatruc Valles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wichimi fully deserved thier win.
