In the 4th match minute, Niton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Greña to maneuver through the defense. After 10 minutes, Braulio Piñeros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niton and the CD Achupallas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CD Achupallas booed when Niton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Piñeros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xan Rosich stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oso Lizaur's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind CD Achupallas's goalkeeper Nicolas Laine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in CD Achupallas's zone, Valerio Padin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Laine came out of the goal and Valerio Padin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Niton's Valerio Padin in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Achupallas's goalie prevented a goal. CD Achupallas's Nicolas Laine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valerio Padin in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Ricart Riba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Laine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Laine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valerio Padin in the 31st minute of the match. Simon Roches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Oso Lizaur scored to the left of an out of position Xan Rosich, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valerio Padin in the 44th minute of play forced CD Achupallas's goalkeeper Nicolas Laine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oso Lizaur was the one to do the kick off. CD Achupallas's Nicolas Laine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save CD Achupallas from getting a goal against them. When Ricart Riba came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Niton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricart Riba couldn't finish the play. Oso Lizaur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 59 played minutes CD Achupallas got a freekick which was hit by Marin Arrojo. Ricart Riba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Nicolas Laine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricart Riba came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicolas Laine could save by the left post. Veronica Viñe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Valerio Padin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Roches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Xan Rosich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, CD Achupallas's Simon Roches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xan Rosich narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 86 minutes on the clock, Xaver Sagaseta commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 86 minutes into the game, one of CD Achupallas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 90 minutes into the game, Dani Basco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Achupallas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niton the free kick. In the 90th match minute, CD Achupallas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dani Basco to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CD Achupallas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Niton had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
