Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Valerio Padin took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Americo Canseco managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Cunucyacu's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Canseco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xan Rosich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolas Greña kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Niton's Ricart Riba got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, Niton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valerio Padin to maneuver through the defense. UD Cunucyacu's Hernández Argomedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save UD Cunucyacu from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute Lucio Borrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xan Rosich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Fernández Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Cunucyacu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernández Alonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Niton's Ricart Riba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernández Argomedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to UD Cunucyacu getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hernando Martua hit a great ball. Maximo Sociats took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernández Argomedo. UD Cunucyacu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. UD Cunucyacu's Hernández Argomedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valerio Padin in the 31st minute of play. Santos Anguiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Hernández Argomedo made a huge save. The supporters of UD Cunucyacu booed when Niton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Greña didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fernández Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Americo Canseco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Cunucyacu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Santos Anguiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hernández Argomedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerio Padin in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Canseco to make the kick off. Sanchez Taran hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Niton's zone, Lucio Borrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xan Rosich came out of the goal and Lucio Borrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucio Borrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Cunucyacu's Americo Canseco was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Americo Canseco came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the UD Cunucyacu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Canseco couldn't finish the play. Garcia Uribe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Xan Rosich made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as UD Cunucyacu's Faustino Abeijon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xan Rosich. That made the score 1-4 after 80 minutes of play. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Americo Canseco sped through Niton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xan Rosich. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Americo Canseco managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD Cunucyacu's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Canseco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xan Rosich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucio Borrero struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Xan Rosich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Cunucyacu. Americo Canseco in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xan Rosich, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 96 played minutes Niton got a freekick which was hit by Sanchez Taran.
