In the 3rd minute Chiriboga Inarraza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Fonte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of UD Micha booed when Tintacruz SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Payva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vidal Pineda during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes, UD Micha's Bustos Toyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Fonte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UD Micha reached it. 19 minutes into the match, Gabriel Gox notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tintacruz SC's Jacobo Fonte. Jacobo Fonte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Idigoras in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zabal Llopiz saved UD Micha from getting behind. Chiriboga Inarraza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacobo Fonte having to make a save. Chiriboga Inarraza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Gox recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Urdin Olan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tintacruz SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UD Micha the free kick. Urdin Olan kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jacobo Fonte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiriboga Inarraza in the 38th minute of play. Tintacruz SC's Jacobo Fonte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Gox in the 42nd minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chiriboga Inarraza made a kick off. Gabriel Gox fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Fonte having to interfere. Chiriboga Inarraza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jacobo Fonte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Fonte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiriboga Inarraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Gox got free with Jacobo Fonte in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tintacruz SC's Urdin Olan got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Urdin Olan off the ground. After a rather tough play, Tintacruz SC's Urdin Olan got a free kick in the 95th minute. Chiriboga Inarraza struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jacobo Fonte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Micha. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UD Micha eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
