Mellington Vivanco kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gutierrez Somellero in the 18th minute of play forced Cerro's goalkeeper Rolando Cidiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tangula FC's Ubaldo Elvira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Tangula FC from getting a goal against them. Rolando Cidiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gutierrez Somellero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Víctor Hoa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Ubaldo Elvira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Víctor Hoa in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ubaldo Elvira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gutierrez Somellero scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Cidiel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cerro's Rolando Cidiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urdaspal Vivanco in the 42nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tangula FC's zone, Víctor Hoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Elvira came out of the goal and Víctor Hoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Xzavion Quiñones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Víctor Hoa in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ubaldo Elvira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urdaspal Vivanco kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Víctor Hoa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Elvira. Tangula FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Víctor Hoa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 65 played minutes, Tangula FC's Dominguez Montanez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Cidiel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tangula FC reached it. In the 71st minute Víctor Hoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Elvira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Elvira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víctor Hoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Cidiel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. Víctor Hoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Elvira having to interfere.
