Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Minda Area started the match with the kick off. Minda Area sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute Minda Area shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Cidiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salomon Ribero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víctor Hoa in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Víctor Hoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Víctor Hoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Salomon Ribero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Victoriano Bolaños had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Yambay Beneitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cargue's Guillermo Jene got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes Cargue got a freekick which was hit by Minda Area. In the 32nd minute Víctor Hoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomon Ribero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cerro fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Cerro's Victoriano Bolaños looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victoriano Bolaños sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yambay Beneitez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Rolando Cidiel made a huge save. The Cargue players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cerro were winning 1-2.
The wind increased when Víctor Hoa made the kick off in the second half. Víctor Hoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 62 minutes into the game, when Zarbonin Val put in a rough tackle. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cerro! Guillermo Jene hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 67 played minutes Cerro got a freekick which was hit by Víctor Hoa. Yambay Beneitez's late challenge caught a Cerro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yambay Beneitez helped the player get up and apologised. If Minda Area had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomon Ribero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvarez Llantada, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Cargue's Salomon Ribero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Cargue from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Cargue's Salomon Ribero got control of the ball when Aurelio Rigueiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Santiago Zayas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yambay Beneitez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Rolando Cidiel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cerro players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
