Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Punguhuaico SC's Xavieon Partarroyo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Wilson Valcarcel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xinto Mazmela came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Gullan's Wilson Valcarcel. But to his dismay, Wilson Valcarcel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Xinto Mazmela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Valcarcel, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Punguhuaico SC's Aguirre Becerro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aguirre Becerro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Punguhuaico SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aguirre Becerro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 16th minute, one of Punguhuaico SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Punguhuaico SC. Jonatan Rossell charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonatan Rossell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Punguhuaico SC booed when Gullan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Rossell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Punguhuaico SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Marti came free, but Xinto Mazmela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xinto Mazmela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Marti's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Lisandro Antoniano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roldan Proenza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavier Cembranos in the 29th minute. Lisandro Antoniano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roldan Proenza having to interfere. If Xavier Cembranos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Gullan's goalkeeper Roldan Proenza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Cembranos. After a defensive mix-up in Punguhuaico SC's zone, Wilson Valcarcel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xinto Mazmela came out of the goal and Wilson Valcarcel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wilson Valcarcel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Xinto Mazmela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xinto Mazmela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilson Valcarcel's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Carlos-Armando Arraña's late challenge caught a Gullan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos-Armando Arraña helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Punguhuaico SC's Carlos-Armando Arraña got a free kick in the 46th minute. Xinto Mazmela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Valcarcel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Marti to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Marti in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xinto Mazmela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Punguhuaico SC's Xinto Mazmela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Marti in the 55th minute of play. Wilson Valcarcel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Xinto Mazmela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Marti struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Xinto Mazmela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gullan. Wilson Valcarcel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xinto Mazmela having to interfere. When Jorge Marti came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Gullan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Marti couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Punguhuaico SC's zone, Wilson Valcarcel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xinto Mazmela came out of the goal and Wilson Valcarcel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos-Armando Arraña kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Gullan's Jorge Marti got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xavier Cembranos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Xavier Cembranos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Punguhuaico SC defense, Wilson Valcarcel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xinto Mazmela. The Punguhuaico SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xinto Mazmela should have stopped the shot. Jorge Marti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Jorge Marti took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Xinto Mazmela to make any attempt to save it.
