An unexpectedly hard shot by Texeira Caseres in the 22nd minute of play forced Gondwana AIK's goalkeeper Suárez Roque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gondwana AIK booed when Paletillas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Carreiras didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Paletillas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gondwana AIK:s goal. Ugaitz Gijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Quiróz Fuerte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Virila Alison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paletillas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virila Alison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Paletillas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gondwana AIK were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Lavijo made the kick off in the second half. Oswaldo Lavijo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 54th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Clemente Carreiras charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Carreiras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gondwana AIK's Zenon Zugarrondo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Quiróz Fuerte. That made the score 1-3 after 65 minutes of play. After 73 minutes of play, Paletillas's Virila Alison made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Suárez Roque was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 77 minutes, Virila Alison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paletillas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virila Alison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quiróz Fuerte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zenon Zugarrondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quiróz Fuerte having to interfere. 91 minutes in the game, Zenon Zugarrondo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Quiróz Fuerte having to interfere. Gondwana AIK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
