When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Cerezal SC's Segundo Villahoz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Romero Rojica. In the 93rd match minute, Cerezal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Turres to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Cerezal SC's Elkin Espinar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romero Rojica. Romero Rojica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elkin Espinar in the 98th minute of play forced Fito Futbol Federation's goalkeeper Romero Rojica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cerezal SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
